When you’re done brewing your Nespresso with unsweetened almond milk, choose this over sugary, processed, cereals for a sumptuous Swiss breakfast or snack. We promise you’ll be yodeling for joy.
Swiss Bircher Muesli Ingredients:
- 2 cups oats (not quick-cooking)
- 1.5 cups of plain organic yogurt, full-fat or 2%
- 1 TBSP organic honey
- 3 TBSP fresh lemon juice
- 1 organic apple, cored, peeled, and chopped
- 1.5 cups organic 2% milk
- 1 cup chopped slivered almonds, cashews, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds
- ¼ cup diced organic dried apricots
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Place in an airtight container and let sit overnight in the refrigerator. Portion out ½ cup at a time. Top with cinnamon if desired.
